Fall Festivities

Last weekend we went with our friends (and their two children) to a corn maze & pumpkin patch. the corn maze was in the shape of the state of Washington, and we were dropped off (by tractor/hay ride) at the WA/ID border. we then had a map, showing all the roads (trails through the corn maze; actually based on roads in the state) to get us back to the west coast. In addition to learning WA geography, we also learned some fun facts about our new home state (which I have already forgotten).

Into the corn...

Bob, giving perspective as to how tall the corn really is...

I-90 gets closed in the corn maze (just like it does in real life)

Here we are on one of two bridges (yes, bridges) in the corn maze.

After making it through the maze, we went out in the pumpkin patch and picked a pumpkin...which will be carved hopefully this weekend.
