Fremont Oktoberfest

This past weekend (finally getting caught up with these blog posts), Bob and I volunteered to pour beer at the Fremont Oktoberfest. We poured on Saturday which was very rainy. Fortunately, we were under cover of a tent, but the rain did keep the crowd size down. After our pouring session ended, we met up with Becky (who I knew from UNC) and joined the crowd on the other side of the table: the tasters.

On Sunday, the weather was better, and Bob ran in the Brew-Ha-Ha 5K with Ian and Tom.


Maybe next year I'll run too (instead of just being the photographer) -- I do have the "couch potato to 5K" plan around here somewhere...
