Sightseeing in Seattle

In between departmental retreats, Bob's family came to visit. We waited to do much sight-seeing around Seattle until we had people to show around, so we were seeing many of the tourist attractions for the first time! Included in our sight-seeing activities were:

Pike Place Market
Pioneer Square
Ballard Locks
UW campus
Snoqualmie Falls
a hike (twin falls)
Bainbridge (via ferry)
Kubota Gardens



Summer held on for their visit, which means that Bob's family got to experience the beautiful summer weather that we, as Seattlites, aren't supposed to talk about :) This being a big city, though, there still are lots of things to explore and discover...
