Evolution of Christmas lights

Since we've now moved into a house, we wanted to put up Christmas lights. We got lights this past Saturday, and even though it was only ~6pm, it was pretty dark here in Seattle while Bob was on the roof hanging them up. I took pictures to document the "evolution" of the Christmas lights...

This is what we started with -- the lights inside the window (on a timer).
