from "Freakishly Hot" to stormy

We've been told that the weather that we have been experiencing here in Seattle is abnormal. Last weekend was quite warm (the weatherman called it "freakishly hot", a phrase which I have now adopted) -- it got as warm as 92 here in Seattle on Sunday. That may sound cool to those still living in NC, but, you must remember that we have no air conditioning. We had two fans going to cool us off...at least it wasn't as humid as it gets in NC!

Last night we were woken up by thunderstorms -- another weather anomaly here in Seattle. Bob heard that the only real chance for thunderstorms is around the 4th of July (nature makes her own fireworks, I guess!).

There is a chance of rain (surprise, surprise) for tomorrow - but hopefully the weather will hold off for the celebrations around the city. Bob and I will be volunteering tomorrow: pouring beer at the Seattle International Beerfest. We still owe you, the reader, pictures from the Greenwood Car show last weekend - hopefully we'll get those up soon.
