really?!

two things that we just didn't know could happen.

the first: that lettuce could grow like this (that supposed to be butter lettuce):



the second: that you could set things on fire by driving on rims (its a link to a Seattle news story)


in other news, Bob and I were in Portland, OR this past weekend to visit with Paul, Suzanne & Jackson (who we knew back in NC) - pictures of that up soon :)
