Indians vs. Mariners

On Friday the 18th, Liz and I went to our first Mariners' game. We ended up going for two reasons, UW was sponsoring an event as a fund raiser for the alumni association, and the Mariners were playing the Cleveland Indians. We had a really good time at the game, and we got to see some good offense.

Here are some of the pictures we took from our night out at the Ballpark. This is a view from the upper deck looking out at the docks of the Puget Sound. It was pretty neat, when Liz was getting ready to take the picture, the seagull ran along the railing right into Liz's shot.

This is a view of the Seattle skyline from Safeco field. It was a really nice day and we were lucky to have the roof open so that we could see the view.

After the game on the way out I had to get a picture of Liz in her new "Huskies colors" Mariners shirt. I like the way ballparks look at night; their brilliant glow cutting into the shadows of night.
